On Easter morn, the tomb was found bare,
The stone rolled away, our Lord was not there.
He had risen in power, conquering sin and the grave,
Fulfilling His promise, our souls now to save.
The weight of the world, He carried to Calvary,
Nailed to the cross, for you and for me.
He suffered and died, our sins to atone,
But death could not hold Him, the grave was His own.
Now we lift our voices in joyful song,
Celebrating the victory that right has won.
For Christ has defeated the powers of hell,
And through His redemption, our souls now dwell.
In the light of His love, we find new life,
Freed from the bondage of sin and strife.
Our Savior has risen, our hope is assured,
Through faith in Him, salvation is secured.
So let us rejoice, and sing praises high,
For Christ has defeated the grave, He will never die.
The promise fulfilled, our hearts now made whole,
On this blessed Easter, the
day that saves our soul.
