It took Jesus for us to be saved
Worthy for us to lean on Christ
No Christ no hope
All other ground is sinking sand
Christ is the only foundation
Therefore, lean on Jesus.
The journey is rough and weary
Jesus is thine strength
In life when battles wear you out
You will find Christ; your comforter
Therefore, lean on Jesus.
In times of faults and failure
Christ forgives you
When friends forsake you
Christ sticks closer than a brother
When trials seem to overcome you
Christ lifts you up
Therefore, lean on Jesus.
For you to cross over the bridge of joblessness
Tall relatives are shorter than Jesus
He is the bridge to your joblessness
To go over this bridge you need Jesus
Therefore, lean on Jesus.
On whom do I lean on?
Is it education, riches, parents or denomination?
It is worthy to lean on Him
He, who, fails not
Therefore, lean on Jesus.
