FOR THE GREATER GLORY….by Ken Sigodo

When the day comes
And the voices become hoarse
With dirges and sad chorus
They announce my pass

They cry and moan
They sadden and frown
That too soon am gone
With the wind away blown

They recall and speak
The deeds that in my life peak
And on the low ones quick
Coz like any man sometime was weak

I lived, yes I lived
Like it was my last day I believed
Right and wrong I sieved
To commit only the good deed

I sung when I could
Danced when I should
Smiled like was fooled
And calmed like I was cooled

They must have loved
To them so sad
For them to understand
That am gone to be with dad
